Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Production Expeditor for the 1st shift (6am-2pm) in Saint Charles, MO. The role involves expediting orders, verifying jobs, and coordinating between processes to meet delivery deadlines.

The position requires experience with inserter systems, strong Excel/Office skills, and attention to detail. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience (3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of Inserter machine computer functions, including opening/closing files and feeder setup.
• Previous Inserter Operator experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Data entry and payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust manufacturing orders and processes to improve workflow, accuracy, and inventory ordering.
• Organize and prepare orders for downstream processes; verify non-mailables and batches.
• Coordinate expediting of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time and ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform verification for customer-specific jobs on computers (open/close files).
• Organize and expedite finished products from off-line machines with proper labeling and separation.
• Maintain department files, assist with production planning and special projects, help train others, and support management.
