RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Production Expeditor at our Wallace Ave location in Illinois. The role supports Production Supervision by expediting orders in EPIC/Infoshare, ensuring accuracy, and preparing jobs for downstream processes.

The position requires organizing workflow, verifying non-mailables, and coordinating pieces to meet on-time delivery. Shift details: 1st shift, 6am-2pm. Strong 5S and communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience; 3 years preferred.
• Inserter machine computer functions knowledge (open/close files).
• Experience as Inserter Operator preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word).
• Payroll/data entry experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong prioritization and organization; 5S awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Adjust orders and processes to improve workflow and inventory accuracy.
• Prepare orders for delivery to subsequent processes and verify completion.
• Coordinate handling of non-mailable pieces to reduce cycle time.
• Verify customer-specific jobs on computers and manage files.
• Organize and expedite finished products from off-line machines with proper labeling.
• Assist with production planning, training, and special projects.
