Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Warehouse Packer to support the production and fulfillment process in Missouri. The role involves following detailed packing procedures, selecting and packing printed materials, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will assemble items, label packages, and maintain organized pallets and containers.

This is a first shift position with physical requirements. Responsibilities include counting/ sorting items, reading instructions, and using standard packing equipment.

Qualifications

• Able to bend, lift, twist and climb.
• Ability to stand 8 hours a day.
• Able to understand written instructions.
• Able to understand verbal instructions.
• Ability to read specifications and identify correct parts.
• Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques and equipment.
• Must be able to measure, count and weigh products and materials.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work.
• Pick and package a variety of printed materials or items that require a limited variety of packing procedures.
• Place, arrange, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage.
• Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions.
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
• Count and sort various product items.
• Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages, putting manuals into binders, and handling boxes for the final product.
