Job summary

Opella seeks a Shift Lead Packaging Technician for the first shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm). You will lead technicians, ensure +QDCI and SMS standards, and maintain safety and quality on the packaging line. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are required to drive OEE improvements.

You will work as a working leader, operating equipment and guiding teammates on the line, with a focus on training, performance management, and adherence to HSE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production, including operating high-speed packaging or assembly equipment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or familiarity with production systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Role model servant leadership and quality, ensuring safety and engagement on shift.
• Develop team through training, performance discussions and compliance activities.
• Flow to the work and adapt to meet business needs on the line.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams and leadership.
• Lead Level 1 +QDCI leads in AM and SMS standards and ensure compliance.
• Perform process confirmations and uphold HSE and Quality standards.
• Drive improvements in overall OEE and manufacturing performance.
