Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician Shift Lead to guide a team on the 1st shift (6:30am–3:00pm). You will lead technicians, ensure alignment with HSE, Quality, AM and SMS standards, and drive +QDCI results while operating equipment as needed.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and hands-on manufacturing experience with high-speed packaging; strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to lift 25–60 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing and packaging environments.
• Ability to communicate laterally and upward.
• Qualified in multiple areas/equipment/processes.
• Pre-employment testing required.
• Lean Six Sigma certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians on shift to deliver +QDCI results.
• Model servant leadership and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Support development of team through IDPs and training.
• Flow to meet business needs and coordinate cross‑functional work.
• Operate line equipment as needed and ensure HSE compliance.
