Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician to operate and maintain packaging lines in our Chattanooga, TN facility on a 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10:00pm–6:30am). You’ll set up, clean, and troubleshoot equipment, coordinate line readiness, and help ensure safety, quality and output.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing with high-speed packaging or assembly equipment. Proficiency with fillers, cappers, labelers, and related tools is expected; candidates must lift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing with high-speed packaging, start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers.
• Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and tools.
• Ability to lift 25–60 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare packaging lines for various products.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed.
• Provide packaging supplies to maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with FDA cGMP.
• Document fill levels and follow SOPs, SPIs and other procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards.
