Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician to operate and maintain packaging lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll troubleshoot issues, set up lines for various products, and support ongoing process improvements while adhering to FDA—cGMP standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork and a focus on sustainable practices as part of our self-care mission. This 2nd shift position (2:30pm–11:00pm) requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus manufacturing experience with packaging equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing/production, operating high-speed packaging equipment.
• Proficient in operating packaging machinery and related tools (fillers, cappers, labelers, bundlers).
• Able to lift 25-60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must comply with dress code and undergo training; aware of FDA and cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging production lines with safety and quality focus.
• Troubleshoot and suggest improvements for efficient operation.
• Support sustainability goals and align with company mission.
• Follow Set-Up Sheets, SPIs, SOPs and other procedures to ensure proper setup.
