Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor for 1st shift at our Denton, TX location. You will supervise inbound, outbound, and product slotting activities, schedule labor, manage space, and ensure safe, cost-effective operations in line with client expectations.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on supervision, with a focus on meeting KPI targets and maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years' experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and assigns daily work to warehouse staff to meet productivity goals.
• Supervises receiving, warehousing and shipping of products.
• Manages labor scheduling and space utilization.
• Ensures safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Maintains SOP compliance and conducts performance evaluations.
• Trains new staff and provides ongoing development.
• Communicates with senior management and client representatives.
• Reviews workloads and reallocates resources as needed.
• Supports HR in hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Maintains equipment and processes to ensure efficiency.
