Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our client in Gurnee, IL. The role provides on-site technical support in a warehouse environment, handling desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related equipment.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with connectivity, set up new workstations, and document technical problems. The position offers a 1st shift schedule (8 am–5 pm) with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience providing basic IT/technical support.
• Comfortable troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of Windows computers, printers, and network connectivity.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical requests.
• Warehouse or distribution IT experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other equipment.
• Assist employees with basic computer, software, login, and connectivity issues.
• Install and configure computers, software, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and determine solutions.
• Assist with warehouse technology such as printers, scanners, and workstations.
• Perform basic maintenance and updates on computer equipment.
• Help set up equipment for new employees and workstations.
• Keep IT equipment organized and document issues and completed work.
• Escalate complex problems when necessary and provide timely support.
• Provide professional support to warehouse and office staff.
