Job summary

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking an IT Support Technician – Distribution Systems to provide hands-on technical support for production equipment, software, and network within a fast-paced distribution center in Bolingbrook, IL. This onsite role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, printers, terminals, RF devices, and server environments.

The position is a 3-month contract with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion, offering $27–$29.38 per hour on a W-2 basis and benefits details

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IT customer-facing or technical support experience.
• Hands-on experience with PCs, printers, terminals, and RF hardware.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure and server hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Provide second- and third-level technical support for production equipment, hardware, software, and related IT issues.
• Troubleshoot PCs, printers, terminals, RF hardware, network equipment, and other technology used in the facility.
• Maintain and troubleshoot proprietary material-handling software and vendor-supported systems.
• Identify recurring fault patterns and engage appropriate resources to develop permanent solutions.
• Diagnose technical issues, document findings, and communicate solutions for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with internal customers to address technical issues and provide recommendations.
