Qualifications

• Demonstrated career stability with at least 2+ years at each previous employer.
• Foundry/melt operations background in industrial furnaces or molten metal handling.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math for weighing and counting materials.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• High School Diploma or GED; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate & Charge Furnaces: Set up, load, and operate industrial melting furnaces with raw ingot, sows, and internal scrap per melt specs.
• Tap & skim molten metal, maintaining temperature and cleanliness standards.
• Pull samples for quality analysis and submit to metallurgy lab.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift/hoist) safely.
• Track production quantities and document daily logs with attendance and quality data.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules, LOTO protocols, PPE, and 5S on the shop floor.
