Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for a high-pressure aluminum die casting foundry in Cedarburg, WI. This direct-hire role offers a 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:15 PM), competitive hourly pay up to $31.00/hour, and a pathway to stability within a large, ISO-certified manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in melt/furnace operations, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work safely with hot metals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated career stability with at least 2 years at each previous employer.
• Foundry/melt operations background in heavy manufacturing.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and basic math for weighing/counting materials.
• Must reside within a 45-minute maximum commute of the Cedarburg, WI area.
• High School Diploma or GED; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces according to specifications.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities to maintain quality.
• Pull samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists).
• Track production and document material quantities daily.
• Enforce OSHA safety and 5S standards.
