Job summary

Premier North American Die Casting Leader is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for the 1st shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will operate and maintain industrial melting furnaces, charge raw materials, skim molten metal, and collect lab samples to ensure alloy quality for high-pressure aluminum die-casting.

The role requires 2+ years in melt/furnace work, mobility to commute within 45 minutes of Cedarburg, and US work authorization. Direct-hire with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated career stability with 2+ years at each prior employer.
• Experience operating industrial furnaces or heavy foundry equipment.
• Able to perform basic math for weighing and counting materials.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingots, sows and scrap.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities to maintain quality.
• Pull samples for laboratory analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate forklifts and hoists to move metals and containers.
• Record daily production quantities and attendance data.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and 5S standards.
