Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Furnace Melt Operator for 1st shift in Cedarburg, WI. You will operate and maintain high‑pressure aluminum melting furnaces, charge raw materials, skim impurities, and pull lab samples to ensure alloy quality for die casting cells.

The role requires 2+ years of tenure, experience with heavy manufacturing furnaces, and US work authorization. You’ll join a stable, ISO-certified facility offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer is required.
• Foundry/melt operations background in industrial furnaces or heavy manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and charge industrial melting furnaces with ingot, sows, and scrap to specification.
• Tap furnaces and skim impurities while maintaining temperature and cleanliness.
• Pull and label molten metal samples for lab analysis and alloy verification.
• Perform basic furnace maintenance and preventive maintenance work orders.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift/overhead hoists) to move ingots and containers.
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and 5S standards on the shop floor.
