KIPP Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator to support students in core academics and behavior in in-person and virtual settings. You will work under supervision with the Education Specialist to reinforce learning and implement behavior plans, fostering inclusive classrooms and community connections.

Role is full-time, 12-month pay with school-break pay, offering competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within the KIPP Bay Area Public Schools network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/BA preferred or 48 college units in process.
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment (460) or CBEST.
• Experience with students with diverse needs is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with students in small groups or one-to-one to reinforce learning activities.
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Support social interactions and relationships between students with disabilities and non-disabled peers.
• Provide testing accommodations and assist with data trackers and progress logs.
• Attend IEP meetings and parent conferences; maintain professional standards and confidentiality.
