Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Paraeducator to assist in special and general education settings, including virtual and in-person duties. The role supports academics, behavior programs, and access to the educational environment.

Responsibilities include small-group instruction, data tracking, testing accommodations, and collaboration with Education Specialists. It is a 12-month position with a competitive hourly salary and enhanced summer pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A.A. degree or B.A. degree (or 48 units) or
• Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (460) or CBEST exams.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in small groups or one-on-one to reinforce learning.
• Support behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement.
• Facilitate positive peer interactions and supervise testing as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and data trackers.
• Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and Student Study Meetings.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and professional standards.
