Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Education Specialist, work with students in small groups or one-to-one to reinforce core academics and language.
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and support positive behaviors.
• Support social interactions and positive relationships among students and peers.
• Provide emotional support and guidance, model appropriate behavior.
• Assist with field trips, assemblies, and tests accommodations as needed.
• Maintain data trackers and progress records; communicate student progress to Education Specialist.
• Maintain a clean, safe learning environment and adherence to health guidelines.
• Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development.
