Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (Highly Qualified) to provide 1:1 support at Rush Creek Elementary in Maple Grove, MN. The role involves assisting the special education teacher, supporting individual or small groups, and contributing to classroom operations.

The position requires HQ status by start date per Minnesota requirements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and potential for ParaPro/ParaEducator qualification.

Qualifications

• HQ requirement by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Two years of higher education or an associate's degree or passing para assessment.
• Ability to assist with physical and behavioral needs in classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support the special education instructional plan and behavior management.
• Assist in implementing individual plans across settings as assigned.
• Collect data and report observations to supervising teacher.
• Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings and meetings as requested by supervising teacher.
• Complete education forms and student data as directed.
