Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 seeks an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ) at Edinbrook Elementary, Brooklyn Park. Part-time 30 hours/week during the school year, supporting the special education teacher and students with instructional tasks.

Qualifications include HQ by start date per MN DOE, High School Diploma or equivalent, and passing the ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment (district pays).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HQ by start date per Minnesota Dept. of Education.
• Passing score on ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment.
• District will pay for the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the students' instructional plans.
• Support individual or small groups as assigned.
• Collect observational data and report to the supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested.
