Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (1:1 Center Based) at Fair Oaks Elementary in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The role supports students and assists the special education teacher in classroom operations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
HQ eligibility by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
Two years of college study or an associate's degree or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways.
District will pay for the assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing students' special education plans including physical and behavioral management.
Assist in implementing and following through of individual plans in all settings.
Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher.
Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested.
Complete educational forms and student data as directed.
Perform other duties as approved by leadership.
Participate in district training program.
