Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting in instructional activities, supervising student health, and participating in professional development. The position emphasizes safety, documentation and flexible work in multiple school settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent or advanced training in a recognized paraprofessional program approved by the department.
• Experience providing one-to-one and academic/behavioral support to students.
• Willingness to be trained in CPR, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and recording instructional activities under teacher supervision.
• Conduct small-group training at various sites, including library, cafeteria, or community settings.
• Provide instructional assistance and monitor student health and safety as assigned.
