Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of college study or higher required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• CPI training may be required.
• Willingness to participate in professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce essential learning.
• Assist staff with classroom assignments and assessments.
• Prepare differentiated instructional materials for student needs.
• Maintain data tracking for IEP/PCS/PBSP progress.
• Supervise lunch, bus, playground, and other non-instructional areas.
• Assist with personal care per PCS as needed.
• Accompany students on field trips for supervision.
• Communicate with parents to involve them in education.
• Support inclusion and progress toward IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP processes as needed.
