Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to provide 1:1 support, personal care, mobility assistance, and academic help in K-12 settings.

This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive hourly wage and a stable school-day schedule with no evenings. Join a team focused on empowering students and supporting teachers in special and general education environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer and reposition a student safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Perform safe physical transfers and mobility assistance.
• Provide emotional and academic support to students.
• Support implementation of IEP accommodations and care plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect student confidentiality.
