Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Credential of Competency Certificate or willingness to complete the online program within 6 months.
• At least 48 post secondary credits or an associate degree or higher in any content area.
• Willing to complete 20 hours of staff development each school year with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support per the student’s IEP.
• Work under the classroom teacher and supervisor direction.
• Support a 1:1 paraeducator role for students during the school year.
