Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is seeking a Full-Time Personal Care Assistant / 1:1 Paraeducator to support school-age students under the guidance of the classroom teacher and program supervisor.

The role requires providing instructional, behavioral and personal care support as outlined in the student’s IEP, with a 6.75-hour daily schedule (8:15 am – 3:00 pm), 185 days per year, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Additional staff development hours required annually.
• Must meet 20 hours of staff development per school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support per the student's IEP.
• Work under supervision of classroom teacher and program supervisor.
• Follow a 6.75 hours/day schedule, Mon-Fri, 185 days/year.
