Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant / 1:1 Paraeducator (School Age) to support students under an IEP. The position runs 5.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 185 days per year, at $20.00 per hour with potential to earn up to an additional $5,000 this school year.

• Education required: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
• Credential requirements: PDE credential or willingness to complete within 6 months.
• 2 years postsecondary study with 48 credits, transcript required.
• Associate degree or higher, transcripts required.
• Assessment-based credential accepted within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support as outlined in the student’s IEP.
• Work under the supervision of the classroom teacher and program supervisor.
• Provide staff development activities related to position as required by PA Department of Education.
