Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a division of ChanceLight, seeks an Instructional Aide 1:1 to support a student in Grades K-12. You will implement IEPs, tailor instruction, and assist in classrooms and community settings to empower the student to reach their potential.

Collaborate with teachers, monitor progress, and help develop essential skills, with a focus on safety and effective learning. This role offers meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Licensed IL paraprofessional license or in process.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor and support students during lessons and community activities.
• Track progress and communicate with teachers on student needs.
