Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 to join our dedicated Special Education team in Florida. You will provide direct, individualized support to assigned students in Grades K-12, collaborating with teachers to implement IEP goals and tailor instruction to each learner’s needs.

We value patience, empathy, and a positive attitude as you help students build essential skills in academic, social, and daily living areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and basic skills; preferred Bachelor’s degree.
• IL paraprofessional license or in process.
• Experience with instructional support in education or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers about successes and needs.
• Document student behaviors and performance; assist with reports and logs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and support accreditation efforts.
