Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 for Grades K-5 in a supportive, student-centered setting. You will provide direct, individualized support, assist with IEPs, and work closely with classroom staff to foster learning and growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration, behavior management, documentation, and community-based instruction to empower students toward success and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in education or related field.
• Paraprofessional credential required or in process.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
• Experience instructing or supporting children, especially in special education or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing IEPs and individualized instruction for K-5.
• Provide direct, individualized support and supervision in classroom and community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers on outcomes.
• Help manage behaviors and reinforce school policies.
• Document student behaviors and performance; prepare reports.
