Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 to support a student in grades K-12. You will work closely with classroom educators to implement IEP goals, deliver individualized instruction, and monitor progress in both school and community settings.

The role requires strong communication, patience, and teamwork to foster a supportive learning environment and empower students to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; basic skills test passed.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Certified or pursuing paraprofessional credential preferred.
• Experience guiding children in special education or behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of IEP implementation and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers on outcomes.
• Assist with documentation of behaviors and performance.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with policies.
• Support students in developing academic, social, and life skills.
