Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 (formerly ClassUp) hires independent contractor tutors to teach K-12 ELA to North American students using Cosmo curriculum. Classes are 50 minutes, once per week per student, with a flexible schedule you set.

You’ll create a welcoming online learning environment, maintain reliability and on-time attendance, and communicate professionally with students and parents. A bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
