Job summary

Cosmo 1:1, formerly ClassUp, is seeking experienced K-12 ELA tutors for 1:1 online lessons with North American students. Teaching is 50-minute sessions on a set weekly schedule in an after-school setting. You’ll deliver personalized instruction, update availability in the Cosmo app, and prepare age-appropriate materials.

Independent contractor role offering $20 USD per class plus incentives. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of K-12 teaching experience, and reside in the United

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student’s age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
