Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to deliver 50‑minute, one-on-one lessons to K–12 students based in North America. You set a flexible, consistent schedule and use the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role emphasizes reliability, preparation, and professional communication with families. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years of relevant teaching experience, familiarity with K‑12 ELA standards, and access to a quiet, private space with high‑speed internet.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL or EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Able to commit to at least 6 months.
• Located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare age- and ability-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time in a suitable setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff as needed.
