Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced K-12 educators to provide 1-on-1 tutoring using the Cosmo curriculum. You’ll teach students based in North America on a flexible, set schedule with 50-minute classes delivered online.

As an independent contractor, you’ll earn $20 USD per class plus incentives, with a commitment of at least 6 months and availability of 20 hours per week, primarily 3–10 PM EST or weekends, from a private, quiet location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable teaching space.
• Able to commit to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability 3–10 PM EST or weekends.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction using the Cosmo curriculum.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare age-appropriate lesson materials and deliver lessons.
• Submit feedback after each class.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and Cosmo staff.
