Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is recruiting experienced educators to deliver 1:1 tutoring to K-12 students based in North America, using the Cosmo curriculum. You set a flexible schedule and meet students at a fixed time each week for 50 minutes per session.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL, with reliable internet and a private workspace. Availability is needed 3–10 PM EST Mon-Fri or weekends, with a minimum 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• 3+ years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards preferred
• Fast, reliable internet and a quiet, private workspace
• Available 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends
• Minimum commitment of 6 months with Cosmo 1:1
• Located in the United States or Canada

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students
• Update availability in Cosmo App promptly
• Prepare age-appropriate lesson materials
• Submit feedback after each lesson
• Communicate professionally with parents and students
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff as needed
