Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 and group setting under BCBA supervision. Candidates must maintain RBT certification or complete a 40-hour training and pass the competency exam within 45 days of employment.

Pay range is $19-$20 per hour. Responsibilities include direct client care, data collection, parent training, and maintaining accurate documentation in a safe, organized environment.

Formación

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or commit to a 40 hour training and sit for the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification along with a TB test if not updated in the past year.
• Must be able to physically perform the job (lift up to 50 lbs, get down on the floor, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow the prescribed behavioral acquisition and behavior reduction protocols from the client’s treatment plan (BCBA/BC).
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition.
