Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy seeks an exceptional Behavior Technician to support children on the Autism Spectrum with ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group setting under BCBA supervision.

Candidates must hold or be willing to complete the 40-hour RBT training and pass the competency exam within 45 days of employment. The role emphasizes data collection, parent training, and safety in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not current.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care 1:1 and in group settings.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize client data.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training per protocols.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Communicate progress to families as directed by BCBA/BC.
