Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company. The Sales Manager for Surgery will lead commercial performance across Turkey and Iran, guiding strategic planning, distributor management, and customer engagement to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

You will build partnerships with healthcare professionals and procurement stakeholders, delivering financial targets and collaborating with Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5 years of successful sales experience in medical devices or healthcare with people leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence customers at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence, and drive alignment across diverse teams and customer groups.
• Demonstrated experience in distributor management and strategic account development.
• Strong understanding of the Turkish healthcare environment and tender landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
• Drive growth of the Surgery portfolio across existing and new customer segments.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase market share and customer penetration.
• Lead strategic account planning and opportunity management across Turkey.
• Ensure effective use of commercial excellence tools and CRM systems.
• Lead and manage distributor relationships to ensure achievement of sales and profitability objectives.
• Conduct regular business reviews, forecasting sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Drive distributor accountability for customer coverage, inventory management, demand generation, and market development.
• Develop distributor capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ensure alignment with BD commercial priorities and execution standards.
• Build relationships with healthcare stakeholders, procurement leaders, clinicians, nursing leadership, and hospital administrators.
