Qualifikationen

About the role

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the commercial performance of the Surgery portfolio across Turkey & Iran through strategic business planning, distributor management, customer engagement, and execution excellence.

They will drive revenue growth, market expansion, customer adoption, and operational execution while developing strong partnerships with distributors, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, procurement stakeholders, and strategic accounts. The role is accountable for delivering financial targets, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring successful execution of BD's commercial priorities within the Turkish market.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Identify new growth opportunities across existing and emerging care settings.
• Support new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives.
• Increase market penetration through targeted commercial programs and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor competitive activities and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasting and business performance reporting.
• Monitor key business indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Drive territory optimization and resource allocation to maximize business impact.
• Ensure execution excellence across all commercial activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop sales professionals to achieve high levels of performance.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, field coaching, and talent development activities.
• Develop future commercial capabilities aligned with BD's growth ambitions.
• Work closely with Marketing, Professional Education, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Support the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives.
• Share market insights and best practices across the MENAT organization.
• Ensure compliance with BD policies, Code of Conduct, and local regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethical business conduct and integrity.
• Promote a culture focused on quality, patient safety, and accountability.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of successful sales experience within medical devices or healthcare with people leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence customers at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence, and drive alignment across diverse teams and customer groups.
• Demonstrated experience in distributor management and strategic account development.
