Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Strategic Buying Professional to lead sourcing contracts and supplier management for indirect materials. You will drive negotiations, manage supplier performance, and align with internal customers to ensure timely delivery and quality.

The role requires 4–7 years of procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in SAP/ERP systems. English fluency and AI-enabled data analysis are valued. This is a on-site opportunity in Turkey.

• Negotiate to achieve highest feasible savings.
• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure early involvement and care.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and concluding sourcing contracts based on customer requirements at the most beneficial conditions whilst ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

• Implementing commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of indirect materials.
• Contributing to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
• Preparing and conducting negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings
• Executing Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification).
• Ensuring a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in strategic indirect material procurement.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Experience in supplier management and contract negotiations

Your attributes and skills:

• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong supplier communication and follow-up skills
• Excellent command of English
• Ability to effectively use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in daily business processes, leveraging AI for data analysis, reporting, research and improving process efficiency
• Male candidates should complete the military service requirements
