Job summary

Siemens in Gebze is seeking a seasoned Quality Management professional to lead quality activities across product lifecycles and production processes. You will drive APQP/PPAP activities, manage approvals for new products and changes, and lead problem solving with robust quality methodologies.

The role requires strong communication in English, a background in engineering, and the ability to collaborate in an international environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or VDA 6.3 audits.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support product and process quality activities from project launch to change management.
• Manage APQP, ISIR/PPAP and quality approvals for new products and changes.
• Lead problem solving using 8D, A3, PDCA, and FMEA methods.
• Maintain Quality Control Plans, Work Instructions, Test Instructions, and related docs.
• Analyze process performance using SPC and MSA, driving improvements.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers on quality topics and corrective actions.
• Participate in audits and support compliance activities.
• Contribute to Product Safety, Lean, and Digitalization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and business goals.

Job description

To ensure sustainable product and process quality in line with customer requirements, regulatory standards, technical specifications, and product safety expectations. The role contributes to customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout product lifecycle and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product and process quality activities throughout project launch, serial production, and change management processes.
• Manage APQP, ISIR/PPAP and quality approval activities for new products and engineering changes.
• Lead problem-solving and corrective action processes using quality methodologies such as 8D, A3, PDCA, and FMEA.
• Maintain and improve Quality Control Plans, Work Instructions, Test Instructions, and related documentation.
• Analyze process performance using quality tools such as SPC and MSA and drive improvement actions.
• Coordinate customer and supplier quality topics, including complaint management and corrective action follow-up.
• Participate in internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits and support compliance activities.
• Contribute to Product Safety, Lean, Digitalization, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve quality and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical & Materials, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, and 8D.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or VDA 6.3 audit processes.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, diverse, and international environment.
• Willingness to travel when required and valid driving license.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
