Job summary

Accor Hotels' Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul is seeking an experienced Convention & Events sales professional to drive group bookings and manage corporate client relationships. The role focuses on developing proposals, negotiating terms, and coordinating with Operations and F&B to ensure flawless event execution.

You will work with corporate clients, agencies, and planners, conducting site visits and presentations to win business while maintaining profitability and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in hospitality, business, tourism or related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from corporate clients for meetings, conferences, weddings, and events from initial contact through contract signing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to client needs.
• Conduct site inspections and hotel presentations for prospective clients.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Negotiate rates and terms while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
• Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction before, during, and after events.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field
