Job summary

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a Groups, Meetings and Events Sales Executive to maximize revenue opportunities in conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.

You will interact with guests and clients to earn repeat and expanded business, prepare proposals and contracts, lead site visits, and work closely with clients to tailor events to their needs. The role offers exposure to a global hospitality leader with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in office management and coordination in a similar position.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Team player with a solution-oriented approach.
• Detail-oriented and responsible.
• English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Confidentiality and professionalism.
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Maximise revenue opportunities in conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions.
• Interact with Guests and customers to earn repeat and expanded business.
• Prepare event proposals according to Hilton standards or visit clients to convert business.
• Lead negotiations to secure bookings and drive profitability.
• Prepare contracts and pro-forma invoices; follow up on payments.
• Conduct showarounds and menu tastings; attend pre-con meetings with clients.
• Build strong client relationships and understand their needs for future business.
• Ensure maximisation of sales and revenue across hotel services.
• Provide availability and rate information for rooms and banquet events.
• Lead site inspections and manage client entertainment in line with procedures.
