Job summary

Accor, the owner of Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, seeks a proactive sales professional to drive revenue through strategic client engagement, events, and contract negotiations. You will coordinate across departments and lead client visits to secure business in Istanbul.

The role requires a university degree, strong English, and luxury-hotel sales or events experience. You will nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and ensure precise communication of bookings and rates.

Qualifications

• University degree in Tourism & Hotel Management, Business Admin, Marketing, or similar
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Experience in a luxury hotel brand in a sales/events role preferred
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Organizing and executing sales call programs; visiting clients to generate demand and increase business volume
• Developing in-depth knowledge of competitors’ products and market conditions to identify opportunities
• Planning, coordinating, training, and supporting relevant teams to ensure service standards
• Ensuring all event and booking details are clearly communicated to operations and departments
• Negotiating with clients to convert business in favor of the hotel
• Preparing contracts and pro-forma invoices; following up on pre-payments and contractual processes
• Conducting site inspections, menu tastings, and attending pre-convention meetings as required
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and focusing on key accounts for repeat business
• Identifying and maximizing sales opportunities across rooms, events, and banquet operations
• Providing accurate availability and rate information for guest rooms and banquets in line with sales strategies
• Hosting clients, organizing site inspections and stay-over programs in line with procedures and brand standards
