Job summary

Crs Soft is seeking a Senior 3D Artist to build immersive game environments, characters, and levels. You will collaborate with designers and developers to push quality across platforms, shaping pipelines and ensuring consistency with art direction.

Ideal candidates have a strong Blender/Maya background, expertise in Unreal Engine, and a robust portfolio showing diverse environments and characters. The role involves rapid iteration and teamwork in a dynamic studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a related field.
• Experience working closely with different disciplines in a production environment.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software packages, especially Blender & Maya.
• High competency with texturing software (Substance Painter, Designer, Photoshop).
• Ability to create realistic environments in a game engine, specifically in Unreal Engine.
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation, lighting and rendering.

Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality, efficient, realistic, textured models of props and environment assets.
• Preparing 3D models for rigging.
• Configuring meshes and materials in-engine.
• Validating models and optimizing scenes for game environments.
• Contributing to workflow documentation and process improvement.
• Effectively collaborating with peers as well as other teams.
• Research and development of new tools and techniques.
• Managing art asset libraries and other support systems.
• Mentorship of other artists.

Job Description

As a Senior 3D artist you’ll be responsible for building out immersive 3D game experiences, working with an internal team of designers, artists and developers to help drive style, consistency and push the quality of what is possible across a wide range of platforms. Working closely with art and design leads to develop design pipelines to help streamline development and creating unique environments, characters, levels and experiences.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree from a related field,
• Experience working closely with different disciplines in a production environment,
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software packages, especially of Blender & Maya,
