Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast seeks an Account Manager for pharmaceutical products in Turkey (Gebze) to drive profitable growth, acquire new customers, and expand existing relationships. You will serve as the primary commercial representative, developing partnerships and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

The role requires 4–8 years in pharma sales, strong B2B and negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and SAP.

Qualifications

• Commercial or technical studies with 4–8 years in sales of pharma/ pharma packaging.
• Proven B2B sales track record with ability to develop and close new business.
• Strong negotiation and value-based selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth within the assigned territory through customer acquisition, account expansion and market penetration.
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Identify, target and acquire new customers to increase market share and expand kp's presence within the Pharma segment.
• Build strong relationships across multiple customer functions, including Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, business drivers, market dynamics and growth initiatives to identify opportunities for value creation.
• Continuously analyze market trends, competitive activities and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
• Build, maintain and convert a robust pipeline of projects and commercial opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely CRM management.
• Drive account penetration and increase wallet share by identifying new applications, products and services that create customer value.
• Develop a strong understanding of Pharma market requirements, product portfolios, manufacturing processes and regulatory expectations relevant to kp's value proposition.
• Manage the assigned customer portfolio with accountability for revenue, profitability, growth and customer retention.
• Collaborate closely with internal functions including Operations, Product Management, Quality and Customer Service to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Manage pricing and commercial negotiations in line with company profitability objectives and supported by Finance/Pricing Team.
• Represent kp at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
• Travel as required within the territory and internationally to support customer development, business growth and strategic initiatives.
