Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a Freight Forwarder Sales Representative (Local NVO Channel) in Istanbul. You will develop the freight forwarder portfolio, manage key relationships, and drive cargo growth across CMA CGM’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include converting opportunities, delivering tailored transport solutions, and collaborating with Trade, Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in container shipping or freight forwarding sales or a related environment.
• Experience selling to freight forwarding companies is preferred.
• Strong track record in business development and account management.
• Solid understanding of shipping operations, trade dynamics and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of freight forwarder customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in freight forwarding.
• Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews and meetings to identify growth opportunities.
• Promote CMA CGM services, including sustainability and value-added logistics offerings.
• Create tailored transportation solutions aligned with customer needs and routing preferences.
• Manage sales opportunities through the full cycle from lead to retention.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and forecast visibility.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities for opportunities.
