Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a Special Cargo Sales Representative in Istanbul to drive business growth across OOG, project and break bulk segments. You will manage opportunities from enquiry to delivery, coordinating with Trade, Operations, and Regional teams to deliver tailored transportation solutions.

The candidate will build long-term customer relationships, develop commercial proposals, and oversee complex shipments while working in a hybrid Istanbul office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Maritime Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or B2B sales.
• Experience in OOG, Project Cargo, Military Cargo, Break Bulk, Heavy Lift, or other Special Cargo activities is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of customers within OOG, Project Cargo, Military Cargo, Break Bulk, and Special Cargo segments while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and target industries to drive growth.
• Assess cargo feasibility before quotation by reviewing dimensions, weight, handling requirements, and routing constraints.
• Prepare commercially sound quotations, tenders, and proposals considering equipment availability and shipment complexity.
• Act as the focal point between customers and internal stakeholders to deliver effective transportation solutions.
• Forecast pipeline opportunities and equipment requirements to support business development and capacity planning.
