Job summary

Excis is hiring an L1 Desktop Support Engineer in Istanbul to manage hardware, software and IT assets across locations. You will deliver first-level support and maintain ticket updates to ensure timely resolutions.

Requirements include Windows 7–10, Active Directory, Office 365, PC hardware, and basic Mac support, with strong communication and customer service skills. The role supports a fast-paced IT environment in Istanbul.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA A+ and MCP or higher certifications.
• Minimum 18 months of hands-on IT experience in a support/technical role.
• Windows 7-10 operating systems.
• Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Microsoft Office 365.
• PC hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Enterprise antivirus solutions.
• Helpdesk ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first-level technical support and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain clear communication regarding issue status and resolution timelines.
• Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues, especially related to audio/visual systems.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Office 365.
• Provide basic support for Mac OS and Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot printers and general computer hardware.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, and printers.
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve network connectivity and workstation performance issues.
• Adapt to a project-based work environment demanding flexibility and multitasking.
