Job summary

Gami Giyim is seeking a logistics professional to manage import operations in Turkey, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and timely customs clearance and shipment scheduling.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in a similar role, strong negotiation and communication skills, and fluency in English. You will support documentation, inspections, and regulatory compliance with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase order details and communicate with suppliers; manage import-related correspondence.
• Ensure customs clearance documents are prepared and submitted on time.
• Obtain production lead times and shipment schedules from suppliers.
• Share shipment details with overseas suppliers to coordinate shipments.
• Monitor procedures to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate quality inspections with third-party inspection agencies.
• Manage product notification, registration, and approval processes with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
• Ensure shipping documents and quality certificates are available for customs clearance.

What We Expect From Our Ideal Candidate?

• Prepare purchase order details received from category teams and communicate them to suppliers; handle import-related correspondence and monitor banking and payment processes,
• Ensure that all documentation required for customs clearance is prepared and submitted in a timely manner,
• Obtain production lead times and shipment schedules from suppliers,
• Share shipment and logistics details with overseas suppliers to ensure smooth shipment coordination,
• Monitor and follow up on all procedures to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule,
• Conduct quality inspections during the loading process or coordinate third-party inspection agencies to perform the required quality controls,
• Manage and oversee product notification, registration, and approval processes with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry,
• Ensure that all shipping documents, quality certificates, and any additional documentation required under customs regulations are complete and available for customs clearance after shipment.

Profile of Our Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field,
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills,
• Solid knowledge of customs regulations and hands‑on experience with customs clearance processes,
• Strong analytical and reporting skills,
• Excellent planning, problem‑solving, and organizational skills,
• Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities,
• Strong follow‑up skills with a results‑oriented mindset,
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills,
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
